STIX Wax Co. LLC ("STIX Wax Co.", "we") respects your privacy. This page explains what we collect when you book or visit, why we collect it, and what choices you have.

What we collect

• Contact details: your name, email address, and phone number.
• Appointment details: the services you book and your appointment history.
• Intake and health-related information: skin conditions, medications, and consent answers you give on the intake form.
• Payment details: your card is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number; we keep only the card brand and last four digits.
• Booking agreements: the policy text you agreed to, with the time and your IP address, as a record in case a charge is questioned.
• Technical data: basic information such as your browser and device, used to keep the site working and secure.

Why we collect it

To book and manage your appointments, to treat you safely, to charge late-cancel and no-show fees under our policies, and to send confirmations, reminders, and aftercare by email and, if you opt in, by text.

Who we share it with

Only service providers who help us run the studio: Stripe for payments, and our email and text message providers. We don't sell your information. We don't use third-party analytics on intake or booking forms. On the card step we use Cloudflare Turnstile, a security check that tells people from bots; it loads only there, and it is not used to track or advertise. We may share information if the law requires it.

Text messages

We use your phone number for appointment messages only if you opt in. See our SMS terms. Mobile information, including your phone number and text-message opt-in, is not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

How long we keep it

We keep client and appointment records while you're a client and for up to 7 years after your last visit, to meet tax and payment-dispute obligations, then delete or anonymize them.

Keeping it safe

Intake information is encrypted and limited to the people who need it to serve you. No system is perfectly secure, but we take care with the information you give us.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct, or delete your information by emailing katie@stixwaxwi.com or calling (608) 820-7311. You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP.

Children

Our online booking is meant for adults. Clients under 18 need a parent or guardian to book, consent, and be present for the appointment.
